Hazardous Waste Personnel Training (40 CFR 265.16)
Facilities designated as large-quantity generators must train all employees on site-specific hazardous waste dangers and procedures. This includes:
- Generators
- Treatment, storage, and disposal (TSD) facilities
- Transporters
Stormwater Management (40 CFR 122)
All employees must be initially trained in awareness of regulations and site-specific run-off containment programs. Annual refresher training is required.
Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) (40 CFR112)
All employees must be initially trained in awareness of regulations and site-specific spill prevention programs. Annual refresher training is required.
Asbestos Abatement (40 CFR 205)
Training courses designed to comply with Section 205 Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) 15 as it relates to the Model Accreditation Program (MAP). The courses include:
- Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Training
- General Awareness
- Abatement Worker
- Abatement Supervisor
- Building Inspector
- Management Planner
Lead Abatement (40 CFR 745)
Training courses designed to comply with Part 745 Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) 15 as it relates to the Model Accreditation Program (MAP). Safety Guidance Specialists instructors are certified to teach the following courses:
- Abatement Worker
- Abatement Supervisor
- Inspector/Hazard Assessor
